GRCC's Monthly Outreach & Mission Projects with

Disciples Women's Ministry & Appalachian MInistry

Every two months GRCC collects items for different Ministries. Everyone in the church can participate.  

Supporting these ministries as the body of Christ in conjunction with DWM's organizational efforts is a wonderful way to spread the good news of the gospel. Stay posted on how to participate during the weekly updates and bulletin.

September-October 2026:

Franklin County Dog Shelter (cats too): clean used towels, blankets, pillows, cheese wiz, peanut butter, unsweetened applesauce, dog and cat food -dry or canned.

November - December 2026

CW Human Services Food Pantry:

     Canned or dry goods for holiday meals (Thanksgiving/Christmas). List will be available in October. 

Mitten Tree - scarves and mittens

Children's Services - Canal Winchester Youth /H.S. - lightly used/new coats sizes 6-20

January- February 2027: "Ronald McDonald House": travel-sized toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and also canned Lysol spray.

March - April 2027:

"Angel Works": Fundraiser - amount TBD

September and October, DWM is collecting much-needed items for our furry friends at the Franklin County Dog Shelter (and the cats too!) throughout September & October 2026. ITEMS NEEDED: • Clean, used towels, blankets, and pillows • Cheese Wiz & Peanut Butter (for treats!) • Unsweetened applesauce • Dry and canned dog & cat food. Your donations make a huge difference for animals waiting for their forever homes. Every towel and can of food counts!

Good news! Your hard work and generosity paid off. My husband and I delivered over 150 food items and a $300 check to the Friends and Neighbors food pantry in Coolville on March 11. If you worked at the rummage, holiday market, cookie walk or fish fry; OR if you donated food items -- you made this possible!
