Disciples Women's Ministry or DWM is leading GRCC in their efforts to support the following monthly outreach ministries. 

You do not have to be in the DWM to participate. Supporting these ministries as the body of christ in conjunction with DWM's efforts is a wonderful way to spread the good news of the gospel. Stay posted on how to participate during the weekly updates and bulletin. 

March - April: Star House

May - June: No Donations will be collected.

July: School Supplies

                                                                          Beginning March 1 and continuing through the end of April, Disciple Women's Ministry will be collecting donations to benefit Star House. Star House is a

24/7 drop-in center for youth ages 14-24 who are experiencing homelessness. The center offers food, shower facilities, laundry, hygiene items, clothing, and many services. This is the only center in Central Ohio that focuses on this age group, that finds themselves suddenly homeless. 

The director of the facility is requesting men's boxers in all sizes or Kroger gift cards averaging $15-$20 each. Please place donated boxers in the tub marked DWM in the info center. Any gift cards or donations to purchase gift cards, please give directly to Sue Johnson, Pat Jackson, or Linda Landis.

A message from Sue Johnson

As a result of the DWM book drive, today I placed 206 books in 8 blessing boxes in Canal Winchester, Pickerington, and Reynoldsburg. On Wednesday, we will deliver 50 children’s books and 52 adult books to Ronald McDonald House and 65 to Nationwide Children’s Hospital on-site day care. Tomorrow, I will deliver 61 books to Lil’ Angels Day Care housed in GRCC. Later this week, I will deliver 200 books to Columbus Kids’ Book Bank, which will distribute them to local families, classrooms, and organizations free of charge.
